  6. Weekly Teen 3D Plastic Object Print Demo

    May 25, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Saginaw Public Library

    The library is holding a weekly drawing for teens in middle and high school grade. Teens are encouraged to design a 6inch x 6inch 3D object (free software: Blender.org, Google Sketchup, OpenSCad, etc) and save it as a .stl file. Teens who need inspiration or would like to print a pre-designed public domain file can visit www.thingiverse.com. At the end of the week a name will be drawn and the teens design will be printed at the library. Teens will need to have their parent/guardian sign a 3D Printer Policy Form at the library. This is part of the Best Buy Community Grant for the Teen Tech Hot Spot Program.
